RAD Torque Raceway is proud to announce Junior Mechanics, a hands-on, two-day engine workshop built just for youth aged 12–17. No experience required; just curiosity, enthusiasm, and a pair of jeans you don’t mind getting greasy. This exciting program offers a rare opportunity to tear down and rebuild a real small block engine under the guidance of expert instructors in a fun, supportive environment. Whether your teen dreams of becoming a mechanic or just wants to try something new, Junior Mechanics is the perfect starting point. About Junior Mechanics Junior Mechanics is a hands-on mechanical workshop designed specifically for teens aged 12–17. Over the course of two Saturdays, participants will completely tear down a small block engine one weekend and rebuild it the next; all at RAD Torque Raceway’s Thunder Alley Building. We provide everything your teen will need: Tools, gloves, safety glasses, lunch, and expert instruction.
