SCCA events are a full day affair. Bring water! We will run rain or shine. Army/associated activities take precedence over our events. Please keep in mind that there is an expectation of you having to work and this may include running to reset cones and standing for extended periods. EVERYONE WORKS! If you drive your heat and decide to just leave without working your assignment, you'll likely not be able to run with the club again as this will put an incredible burden on the other course workers. We understand emergencies can come up but please DO NOT abuse the efforts of the good folks of the sport. Notify event staff so we may adjust going forward. EVERYONE HELPS WITH CLEAN UP! After the event please ask for something to do to help with the clean up of the event. We always strive to leave the area better than when we arrived! Those who consistently leave without helping may be asked not to attend. We will make accommodations for people with physical limitations. Please let us know. Speed limits: posted speed limits must be obeyed at all times. Where not posted otherwise, the speed limit is fifteen (15) miles per hour throughout the site, and five (5) miles per hour in the Paddock. Golf carts, four wheelers, pit cars, pit bikes, bicycles, and other pit vehicles are permitted in the paddock area only. Common sense and care must be applied in their use. All drivers / riders of pit vehicles must carry a valid driver’s license and operate vehicles only on paved surfaces. Efficiency is a priority at our events, we typically use a "2 Run Group" format and get 7-8 runs. We will try to have a 30 minute lunch break. Cameras, lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. Coolers are allowed, but are subject to search by Wiregrass SCCA or Army personnel. No abusive behavior or vandalism. No unlawful activities. Federal, state, and local laws must be obeyed. Either may result in ejection and/or arrest.
